Britvic Licensed Wholesale has introduced new packaging and improved formulation for its Britvic Juice range in order to grow the category.
In addition to the bigger size - an additional 20ml - the new contemporary clear streamlined bottles should create great impact on shelf, claims the company.
Two new flavours have also been launched: Apple and Pink Grapefruit. The new range should help ensure that the brand is highly visible in the cooler. POS support and Above the Line Advertising is planned for 2009.
Debbie Vard, On-Trade Marketing Manager at Britvic Licensed Wholesale, commented, “The juice market has grown by 13 per cent in the last two years and continues to be a very important category to publicans. In addition, the current consumer move towards ‘better for you’ drinks looks set to continue.
“As the leading brand in the juice market it was key for us to be the first to innovate and inject fresh life into the category. We are confident this will increase sales, add value to the consumer proposition and modernise the product offering.”
Britvic Licensed Wholesale claims over 70 per cent of the total juice market.
